Parts in yellow are additions to the original tender. **************************************************************************** DESCRIPTION Canada is looking for one or more contractors to provide simultaneous interpretation services in English and French for virtual and hybrid events on an “as and when requested” basis. The services are required for events in six (6) different regions: • Region 1) Virtual • Region 2) Quebec • Region 3) Ontario • Region 4) British Columbia • Region 5) Prairies (Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba) • Region 6) Maritimes (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador) Bidders may make an offer for one or multiple regions. The offers will be evaluated by region. TERM The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to August 31, 2025 inclusive. OPTION TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to four (4) additional one (1) year period under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment. Canada may exercise this option at any time by sending a written notice to the Contractor at least 15 calendar days before the expiry date of the Contract. The option may only be exercised by the Contracting Authority, and will be evidenced for administrative purposes only, through a contract amendment.
