REQUIREMENT
The Halifax Citadel has 4 cistern filtration chambers, composed of historic masonry. The project is to restore the deteriorated masonry in the 4 chambers, which includes the careful removal of masonry items to be reinstalled later, the removal of failed bricks and replacement with new bricks, repointing, repairing damaged stonework, and other associated work.
This work will be completed over the winter and will require heated enclosed scaffolding to complete the project.
