Stream 4, Public Accounts-Actuarial Services-Sub Stream 4B- Employee Benefits Actuarial Valuation – Public Accounts

The Office of the Auditor General of Canada (OAG) performs an annual audit of the financial statements of the Government of Canada. The OAG requires the services of a consulting actuary to provide actuarial advice as an essential and integral part of the audit process. In addition, the consulting actuary is required to provide advice in the areas of accounting under the Public Sector Accounting Standards (PS3250 and PS3255).
