The Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP) addresses the long-term containment and management of arsenic trioxide waste, the demolition and removal of all buildings on the surface, the remediation of all surface areas including the tailings ponds and contaminated soil, as well as underground stabilization and surface and underground water management and treatment.
