5P420-20-0425 Type 2 Sustained Action Wildland Firefighting Personnel for Parks Parks Canada Fire ManagementREQUIREMENT:Parks Canada requires the provision of wildland firefighting personnel on an as and when requested basis in various National Parks and/or National Historic Site within Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Manitoba and the Northwest Territories. The Offeror must provide physically fit and fully equipped crews trained to the standards outlined. The Offeror must provide fire suppression services and other project work including, but not limited to, sustained action fire suppression, chainsaw work, preparation of fire breaks, pile burning operations, manual labour and hazardous tree assessment and falling.PERIOD OF THE STANDING OFFER:The period of the Standing Offer is from date of Standing Offer to March 31, 2023 with the option to extend for an additional two (2) one (1) year periods from April 01, 2023 to March 31, 2024 and April 01, 2024 to March 31, 2025.INFORMATION:National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders .
