Pest Control ServicesThis requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Stony Mountain InstitutionTrade agreement: , Canada Korea Trade Agreement (CKTA),Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business:This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers.Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement:This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.Security Requirements:This contract does not include security requirements.Nature of Requirements:The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide pest control services.Objectives:The contractor must provide recommendations, materials, labour, equipment; including the necessary supervision to eradicate, fumigate or remove pests of all types from the Institutional site. This includes, but is not limited to: insects - such as bees (honey bee swarms must be captured), wasps, hornets, bedbugs, flies; rodents – such as mice, rats, Townsend’s Ground Squirrels (gophers), skunks; birds – such as pigeons. The Contractor must take special care and provide recommendations to prevent the unintentional poisoning or harm to any protected species of insects, wildlife or CSC owned animals.The Contractor must complete inspections on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.The Contractor must perform all tasks in a manner to ensure the security of the institution and individuals.Deliverables: The Contractor’s representative and technician must have numbered work orders signed by the Project Authority or designate to confirm that the work has been completed.
