Computerized 2-bed knitting machine and design system

The Department will use Computerized 2-bed knitting machine and design system to prepare textile sensors and create textile structures using the actuator fibre developing as part of the Smartwear Revolution project. The knitting machine will also be used to prepare fabric samples to assess the performance of the regenerated cellulose fibre that department developing using hemp, other farming residues and recycled fabrics.
