2026 Fort Assiniboine Gravel Pit Crushing

The County of Barrhead is planning to crush gravel in their Fort Assiniboine pit at the following quantities: 215,000 tonnes Des 4 Cl 23 35,000 tonnes Des 4 Cl 40 The work will involve mining, crushing, and stockpiling aggregate as well as dewatering the existing pit prior to and during crushing operations. The County will have the aggregate overburden removed prior to work commencing.
