Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation (AGI) - Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch (WIOB) is responsible for the operation and maintenance of provincially owned water management infrastructure. The Oldman River basin and Cypress Hills area accounts for approximately 65% of this infrastructure, including over 20 dams, conveyance canals and other water management infrastructure. This infrastructure provides water security for irrigation districts, water user co-ops for agricultural water supp
