Parks Timber Structures Replacement and Trail Lighting Installation

The City of Red Deer owns and operated numerous timber structures throughout the city’s expansive trail system. Three structures have been identified as requiring replacement: boardwalk behind Checkmate Hill, boardwalk in Maskepetoon Park, and staircase at Riverview Avenue. In conjunction with the staircase work at Riverview Avenue, asphalt trail realignment and installation of trail lighting is planned as part of this project.
