Title: Plumbing Services, AAFC, Summerland Research and Development Centre Description The Department of Agriculture and Agri Food Canada (AAFC), Summerland Research and Development Centre at 4200 Highway 97, Summerland, British Columbia, requires a Contractor to provide Plumbing Services on an “as and when required” basis. This bid solicitation is to establish a contract with task authorizations (TA) for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the bid solicitation to the Identified Users. The contract period will be for five years from the date of contract. The anticipated start date is April 1, 2026. Security Requirements There are security requirements associated with this requirement. The contractor/offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must each hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by AAFC. Mandatory Site Visit It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. A mandatory site visit will be held at Summerland Research and Development Centre at 4200 Highway 97, Summerland, British Columbia on Wednesday, February 04, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am. Policy on Reciprocal Procurement This solicitation of offers is open only to Canadian suppliers (if subject to any international trade agreement(s) and to Suppliers of an applicable trading partner. Mandatory Technical Requirements Bids will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the bid solicitation including the technical and financial evaluation criteria. Basis of selection: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract. SOLICITATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO AAFC AT: This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the CPC Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 4 entitled Offer Submission of the bid solicitation, for further information. Refer to the attached solicitation documents to obtain further information.
