Description

The purpose of this Letter of Interest (LOI) is to inform industry of a potential upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of laboratory services related to chemical residue and allergen testing in and on food products for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). The intent of this letter is to allow industry time to undergo method validation and accreditation, indicates potential methods of interest, required testing matrices, required detection limits and potential sample volume. An RFP is anticipated in summer of 2025. The attachments supplementary to this Letter of Interest are not to be considered the final version as they are subject to changes. Please see the Letter of Interest (LOI) and its attachments for details. This LOI is neither a call for tender nor a Bid Solicitation. No agreement or contract will be entered into based on this LOI. The issuance of this LOI is not to be considered in any way a commitment by the Government of Canada, nor as authority to potential respondents to undertake any work that could be charged to Canada. This LOI is not to be considered as a commitment to issue a subsequent solicitation or award contract(s) for the work described herein.
