Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide prescription drugs and pharmaceuticals to patients at Saskatchewan Penitentiary. Objectives: To ensure that patients at Saskatchewan Penitentiary have access to timely, high-quality pharmaceutical services, specifically to fulfil prescription medications needs on an interim or urgent/emergency basis. These services are essential to maintain continuity of care, safeguard patient health, and support CSC’s mandate to deliver essential health services within a correctional environment. This includes adherence to a variable dosing system, which governs the frequency and format of medication dispensing. The pharmacy services must be provided by a facility that is registered and licensed to provide such service in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and must be in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals. Deliverables: The Contractor (Pharmacist) must: Fulfil medication prescriptions and ensure delivery of the prescribed medications to the following location: • Saskatchewan Penitentiary 15th Street West/Highway 302 West Prince Albert S6V 5R6 Deliveries must be made in accordance with the timelines specified in this contract (e.g., within 24 hours of prescription receipt) and must comply with all applicable handling, packaging, and confidentiality standards; Submit Emergency coverage plan to the Project Authority and provide updated versions as required, subject to approval.
