Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. Correctional Service Canada (CSC) Health Services requires the services of a licensed physician with a specialty in psychiatry (referred to herein as a psychiatrist) for Edmonton Institution in the Prairie Region. Objectives: Provide and actively participate in the coordination of essential mental health services to offenders as a psychiatrist, in the Edmonton institution. Deliverables: At the request of the Project Authority, the Contractor must: Provide mental health services to offenders in accordance with the National Essential Health Services Framework. Prepare the relevant documentation for the provincial Administrative Tribunal or Public Curator Prepare the relevant documentation for those cases requiring an order for treatment against the will of the offender or order of custody in an institution, in accordance with Provincial Legislation.
