Acquisition of Environmental Chambers Cyclic

Aquisition de Chambres Environmentales Cycliques

Description

An Invitation to Bid was initially sent to holders of Supply Arrangement # E60PV-19EQUI on April 5, 2024 but we did not receive any bids. For this reason, we are opening this as a public RFP. The environmental chambers will be used to study the temperature dependent thermal conductivity of closed-cell insulation materials. They can subject the samples to cyclic weathering factors such as temperature and humidity to mimic real-world environmental conditions. The effect of cyclic weather exposures on the thermal conductivity of closed-cell insulations has not been investigated well. So, the data developed from this study will be useful for the development of testing standards and to understand the effect of cyclic weather exposures.

Quick Summary

The National Research Council Canada is seeking to acquire environmental chambers that simulate cyclic weather conditions like temperature and humidity. These chambers will be used to study how closed-cell insulation materials respond to real-world environmental factors, helping to develop testing standards.

Ideal For

Companies specializing in manufacturing or supplying advanced environmental testing chambers and climate simulation equipment should bid.
