Description

Mailroom services consists of the careful and confidential handling, sorting and delivering of the Canada Post Mail and other bulk correspondence. Mail items would need to be processed and sorted for internal and external offices within the National Capital Region (NCR). Transport Canada has a requirement to procure the services of One (1) Driver and three (3) mailroom clerk/messenger including one (1) team lead. The scope of services presently covers about 32 different organizations, located in approximately 25 different buildings in the National Capital Region (NCR). These services take place on both a scheduled and unscheduled basis. Variations in the number of organizations serviced may increase or decrease while this contract is in effect. The services of the Contractor will be required for a period of three (3) years commencing upon contract award of this project with two (2) optional, one (1) year period.
