Credit Inquiry Services

The Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat invites proposals from qualified vendors to provide secure online credit inquiry services to support personnel security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board Policy on Government Security and Directive on Security Screening Mandatory credit checks are required for all levels of personnel security screening within the Government of Canada. These checks are used to assess an individual’s financial reliability, which may indicate potential security risks. The credit checks must be conducted in a manner that complies with the Privacy Act, the Directive on Privacy Practices, and other applicable federal privacy legislation
