Electrochemical Quartz Crystal Microbalance System

Système de microbalance électrochimique à cristal de quartz

Description

The National Research Council Canada (NRC) has a requirement for the supply and delivery of one benchtop electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance system (EQCM). EQCMs are high precision mass balances capable of detecting changes down to the ng/cm2 range by recording the variation in the resonant frequency of a quartz crystal oscillator. This technique can be used to investigate interfacial processes such as electrodeposition, corrosion, and surface adsorption.

Quick Summary

The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is seeking to purchase and deliver one benchtop electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance system (EQCM). This high-precision instrument measures tiny mass changes by monitoring quartz crystal frequency, useful for studying processes like electrodeposition and corrosion.
