Signal Generator Waveforms

Innovation Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) is soliciting bids under Supply Arrangement E60HN-16ELEC for the purchase of Signal Generator Waveforms as detailed in the attached bid solicitation document. Canada may award one contract under this solicitation. Closing date: [insert date/time].” The Certification and Engineering Bureau (CEB) needs to upgrade its SMW200 signal generator with additional waveforms—LoRa, Bluetooth, 802.15.4, and 802.11be—to support evolving digital modulation formats. By enabling testing across new radio frequency technologies, the upgrade helps ensure wireless devices meet regulatory requirements, avoid harmful interference, support fair competition in the marketplace, and remain safe for Canadian consumers. This upgrade will enhance the CEB’s ability to perform market surveillance of wireless products sold in Canada, conduct advanced engineering studies on emerging technologies, and contribute to regulatory standards development. Only pre-qualified Suppliers have been invited to bid. Suppliers that do not already hold a Supply Arrangement in series E60HN-16ELEC with PSPC cannot submit a bid. Requested delivery date for all of the goods is on or before March 31st 2026.
