Guidance for Prefabricated and Modular Construction Addressing Northern and Arctic Requirements

Guidance for prefabricated and modular construction addressing northern and Arctic requirements (integrated with existing CSA modular standards framework) as described below; Standards Council of Canada requires the development of a supplemental plain language user guide for prefabricated and modular construction in northern and Arctic applications. The guide will be developed using content adapted from existing Group’s modular/manufactured standards, incorporating northern and climate-resilience provisions and will provide practical “how to” direction for users. The work will also incorporate input from the Northern Advisory Committee (NAC) under SCC’s Northern Infrastructure Standardization Initiative
