CHANGE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS, ACADEMIC SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS AND HUMAN RESOURCE CONSULTANT - CANADIAN MILITARY COLLEGES BOARD REVIEW (CMCRB) RESPONSE

RÉPONSE DES CONSULTANTS EN GESTION DU CHANGEMENT, DES EXPERTS UNIVERSITAIRES EN LA MATIÈRE ET DES CONSULTANTS EN RESSOURCES HUMAINES - COMMISSION D’EXAMEN DES COLLÈGES MILITAIRES CANADIENS (CMCRB)

Description

The two Canadian Military Colleges (CMCs) are, together, responsible for educating and training between 25% and 30% of the officer intake for the CAF. As a result of the Independent External Comprehensive Review (IECR), the role of the CMCs and the manner in which they conduct education and training, including academic, military leadership, fitness or for second official languages, has been re-examined by the CMCs Review Board (CMCRB). The CMCRB will be producing a report, scheduled to be delivered in January 2025. While the results of this review are not yet finalized, it is expected that the CMCs will be expected to contribute to the strategic assessment of the recommendations of the CMCRB, in terms of feasibility, resource demand, and risk. Further, RMC will be expected to contribute to developing an implementation plan and, in turn, execute its part of that plan. The specific requirement is for the provision of services of five consultants in order to assist the CMCs in conducting the strategic assessment, and in planning for the implementation of those recommendations accepted by the DND.

Quick Summary

The Canadian Defence Academy is seeking five consultants to support the Canadian Military Colleges in assessing and planning the implementation of recommendations from the Canadian Military Colleges Review Board. These consultants will assist with strategic assessment, feasibility analysis, resource evaluation, and implementation planning related to education and training reforms for military officer intake. The final report is expected in January 2025.
