Énumération du saumon - Rivière Sandhill

Description

Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) has a requirement to conduct smolt and/or adult Atlantic salmon enumeration activities (see Appendix A: location map). This will involve the installation, operation and removal of a counting fence as well as associated scientific sampling activities. DFO is responsible for providing scientific advice regarding the status of Atlantic Salmon stocks within the Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Region to aid in the management and conservation of these stocks. This information is then used to infer the overall trends in abundance of Atlantic Salmon stocks within NL.
