Title: Custom Farming Services - LACOMBE Research and Development Centre DESCRIPTION: Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Lacombe Research and Development Centre at 6000 C and E Trail, Lacombe, AB requires a Contractor to provide Custom Farming Services on an ‘as and when requested’ basis for a maximum of 900 acres of cropland. This Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) is to establish a standing offer for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the RFSO, to the Identified Users. The period of the Standing Offer will be for (one) 1 calendar year with the possibility to extend the Standing Offer for up to three (3) additional (one) 1 year periods. The anticipated start date is April 1, 2025. Mandatory Technical Requirements Offers will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the Request for Standing Offer including the technical and financial evaluation criteria. Basis of selection: An offer must comply with the requirements of the Request for Standing Offer and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive offer with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for issuance of a standing offer. OFFERS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO AAFC AT: Offers shall be submitted using the CPC Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit offers electronically. Offers must be submitted only to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) Bid Receiving Unit by the date, time and place indicated in the RFSO. Refer to the attached RFSO documents to obtain further information. Canada retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
