Dynamics Commerce Implementation

Implémentation de Dynamics Commerce

Description

The National Research Council (NRC) currently operates a B2C ecommerce platform known as the Virtual Store, which is built on the SAP ECO 7.54 module for e-commerce. This solution has reached its end-of-life and necessitates replacement. Following a comprehensive Options Analysis, the NRC has decided to proceed with the implementation of a new ecommerce solution utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce. We are seeking a partner to assist with this implementation. The existing Virtual Store processes approximately 3,000 transactions annually and generates $1.9 million in revenue. However, the current implementation has several limitations, requiring our research centres to sell products online outside of the Virtual Store through a Listing of Certified Reference Materials (CRM). Additionally, the NRC generates approximately $80 million in revenue from the sale of services that the current solution cannot accommodate. Our immediate requirement is to implement a new ecommerce solution leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce, which will replace both the Virtual Store and the Listing of Certified Reference Materials. In the longer term, the NRC aims to expand the ecommerce solution to support both B2B and B2C scenarios in a multistore environment, facilitating the sale of both products and services. This expansion will enable us to better serve the needs of the research community and their clients, fostering continued growth. The overall goal of this Request for Information (RFI) is to engage industry and its suppliers in assessing the duration and level of effort to implement a Microsoft Dynamics E-Commerce solution on top of an existing Dynamics
