Concession Operating Agreement - Cypress Hills Restaurant and Store

Alberta Forestry and Parks - Parks Division (“Alberta Parks”) is seeking a business entity or non-profit organization or Proponent Team to operate and maintain the Premises described in Schedule “A” of the Agreement (Appendix A of this RFP) and to deliver food and retail services. The Agreement included as Appendix A will be finalized based on the parameters of the successful Proposal. Under established terms and conditions, the Agreement may be amended at any time based on the mutual acknowledgement of both parties in writing. Alberta Parks’ project objectives are: o To inspire people to discover, value, protect, and enjoy the natural world and the benefits it provides for current and future generations in compliance with the park management plan(s) and/or goals and objectives of Alberta Parks; o To encourage private sector interest and opportunities in the provincial parks system and, in so doing, also support Alberta’s local economy; o To collaborate with businesses and organizations to provide memorable experiences to visitors through high quality outdoor recreation opportunities and supporting facilities; and, o To provide a variety of services in an efficient, cost-effective and customer-oriented manner while meeting conservation goals to protect sensitive landscapes. Prospective Proponents are invited to submit a Proposal to operate the concession services outlined in this Request for Proposal (RFP).
