The federal government, in collaboration with the provinces and territories, is working toward digitally connecting all 14 of Canada’s business registries (10 provinces, three territories and the federal government) to enable the exchange of business information. Connecting the business registries reduces barriers to internal trade and improves the competitiveness of Canadian businesses. It supports business growth and market access across Canada and those transacting with a business to verify its status.
