The requirement is to procure Media Converters Hardware specifically for to fulfil new, break/fix and lifecycle for Level II networks, in support of CAF/DND Operations and Deployments. This Media converter procurement is to satisfy the backlog requirement, any future lifecycle, break/fix or new requirements to our existing Infrastructure. These specific hardware devices were selected based on the primary service infrastructure and knowing this solution works/meets DND/CAF existing Service requirements. In this solicitation, DND/CAF plans to acquire the equipment and specified these products by brand name to ensure compatibility, interoperability, and interchangeability with the current design.
