DAEPM(R&CS) has been tasked with improving the cyber security posture of the Secure Air Force Deployable Network (SAFDN), and to modernize its infrastructure. This effort is to evaluate low size weight and power (SWaP) equipment that can provide flexibility and scalability to Air Force Operations, utilizing both network and radio based communication systems, while simultaneously modernizing the configuration and improving cyber security.This procurement will provide an avenue for evaluation and comparison to other low-SWaP equipment to determine best fit for future RCAF use cases and operations.
