This solicitation of offers cancels and supersedes previous solicitation of offers number 45045-230026 dated 19 April 2024 with a closing of 03 June 2024 at 14:00 EDT. Statistics Canada’s Consumer Prices Division (CPD) and National Economic Accounts Division (NEAD) are seeking price data for new and used vehicles for production of the CPI’s new and used vehicle price indexes, and the deflation of vehicle purchases in Quarterly GDP and PTEA. The required data will provide timely and detailed information on vehicle prices and characteristics. This acquisition will minimize manual internet price collection, reduce costs, and streamline creation of annual passenger vehicle CPI basket weights.
