RFP for Construction Management Services for Edmonton - Walter C. Mackenzie Centre - Alberta Surgical Initiative (ASI)

As part of the ASI program, the proposed developments at the University Alberta Hospital will relocate the Same Day Admit, Day surgery, and Extended Day Surgery pre-op patient holding areas, providing the space to expand the Post-Anesthetic Care Unit, which currently does not meet the national standard of 1.5 to 2 PACU beds per OR. The project will deliver the following major elements: • Relocation of the Same Day Admit, Day Surgery and Extended Day Surgery pre-op patient holding currently loca
