Float Replacement and Harbour Improvements - Deschambault Lake, Saskatchewan and Thicket Portage, Manitoba

Title: Float Replacement and Harbour Improvements – Deschambault Lake, Saskatchewan and Thicket Portage, Manitoba Scope of work: The project involves the supply and install of three new offloading floats: two (2) at Deschambault Lake (54°55'20.84"N Lat, 103°21'42.00"W Long) and one (1) at Thicket Portage (55°18'31.03"N Lat 97°40'18.81"W Long). The project also includes miscellaneous harbour repairs at both sites. FAMILIARIZATION WITH SITE: Before submitting a bid, it is recommended that bidders visit the site and its surroundings, at their own expense and schedule, to review and verify the form, nature and extent of the work, materials necessary for the completion of the works, the means of access to the site, severity, exposure and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions, any accommodations they may require, and in general shall obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection on account of error or negligence to properly observe and determine the conditions that will apply. Take all appropriate safety measures for any visit to site, either before or after acceptance of bid. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by October 31st, 2025.
