Description
Demolition of existing MCTS tower and concrete foundation and installation of a new concrete foundation and MCTS tower to specified standards.
MCTS tower is at the end of their lifecycle and are required to be replaced. Site is accessible by
land/vehicle. Photos of the site can be found in Figures 1 & 2. The location of the site is as follows:
MCTS Rabbit Mountain
Coordinates 48°26'02"N, 89°18'07"W
Under this contract, a site specific concrete foundation shall be designed and stamped by a Professional
Engineer practicing within the Province of Ontario. Geotechnical reports and tower drawings will all be
provided by CCG to the Contractor to assist in the design the site specific foundation.
When the foundation design has been approved by CCG, the Contractor shall construct the foundations
MCTS to be provided will be 350.
