Description

The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement for a Contractor to complete the Fire Safety System Modernization at Bath Institution. The panel modernization includes the replacement of existing Siemens MXL control panels throughout Bath Institution including Case Management (Network Node 1), Accommodation #1 (Network Node 2), Bath - Lower Unit #3 (Network Node 3), Chapel and Meeting Rooms (Network Node 4), Recreation Building (Network Node 5), Visiting and Correspondence (Network Node 6), A&D S.I.S. Building (Network Node 7), School (Network Node 8), Kitchen (Network Node 9), Healthcare (Network Node 10), Upper Unit #3 (Network Node #12), Stores (Network Node #13), Administration Building (Network Node 15), BB04 Offices / SIS Cleaners (Network Node 16) with the Desigo Fire Safety System. The Underwriter Laboratories of Canada (ULC) compatible Simens MXL addressable field detection devices must be returned to the Works Department at Millhaven Institution. To modernize Bath Institution fire safety system to ensure the system meets ever-changing Fire Code requirements, and to continue improving Fire Safety communications throughout the institution by adapting the current MXL system to the Desigo Modular Migration Solution. The Contractor is responsible for subcontracting with the OEM proprietary rights holder and all work completed by the OEM proprietary rights holder including the costs associated with required labour, equipment and materials.
