DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project No. HXO25719_84389 – Apartment Buildings 6-Plex, Windsor Park & Shearwater, CFHA, CFB Halifax, NS The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision, and equipment necessary for new energy efficient construction of eight 6-plex apartment buildings including associated infrastructure renewal/replacement (utilities, roads, parking, drainage, landscaping) in Windsor Park and Shearwater. Construction will consist of 4 – 6 plex apartment buildings, 3 stories tall, at each site location for a total of 48 new Residential Housing Units (RHUs). The resulting Contract will include an Indigenous Benefits Plan (IBP) that aims to provide opportunities for businesses owned and lead by Indigenous People. Canada’s free trade agreements pose no impediment to the inclusion of measures for the benefit of Indigenous Peoples and/or businesses in a procurement. Refer to the Tender documents for details. NOTE: There is no site visit scheduled for this opportunity. The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $31,712,152.18 The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 490 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 45 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
