Bridgeport Community Centre and Grand River Recreation Complex Fire Alarm Upgrades

This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Corporation of the City of Kitchener (the “City”) to prospective contractors to submit quotations for Bridgeport Community Centre and Grand River Recreation Complex Fire Alarm Upgrades, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). Bridgeport Community Centre is located at 20 Tyson Drive, is a single-story recreational building with an activity room addition. The building fire alarm system is conventional type Edwards Fireshield FS101 panel with fire alarm bells throughout the building. The fire alarm panel is discontinued and due for replacement.Grand River Recreation Complex is located at 600 Heritage Drive, is a single-story recreational building with a mechanical penthouse and indoor pool. The building fire alarm system an addressable type Edwards QuickStart panel with fire alarm bells throughout the building. The fire alarm panel is discontinued and due for replacement.
